Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 4:22 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

This severe thunderstorm is located just to the north of Hughenden and is slowly moving.

Damage to roofs, fences, soft shelters or trees is likely. Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
