Yellow Warning - Heat

Daytime high temperatures between 29 to 32 degrees Celsius combined with overnight lows near 14 degrees Celsius will continue through the weekend.

For areas near Great Slave Lake, the temperatures will be warmer inland of the lake. This area may also see this heat continue into early next week.

Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
