Areas of frost are expected.

Locations: parts of western, central, and eastern Newfoundland.

Minimum temperatures: 2 in low lying inland areas to 7 along parts of the coast.

Time span: early Tuesday morning.

Remarks: Patchy frost is expected to form as cool temperatures coincide with clear to partly cloudy skies, especially in low-lying areas.

Damage to plants, trees, and crops is possible.

Frost advisories are issued when widespread frost or freezing temperatures are expected during the growing season.
