Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 3:02 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

This severe thunderstorm is located 40 km south of Grande Prairie and is moving slowly to the north.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
