Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
What: Wind gusts up to 110 km/h. Ping pong ball sized hail. Heavy rain, possibly exceeding 40 mm.
When: This afternoon and evening, possibly continuing into the overnight hours.
Additional information: Thunderstorms are approaching from Lake Huron this afternoon and may track over the area. The potential for thunderstorms will then continue for the remainder of the afternoon and evening and possibly overnight.
