At 4:14 p.m. EST (5:14 p.m. EDT), Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.

Location: Over McIntyre

Motion: Moving east at 60 km/h

Hazards: Wind: damaging (90 - 110 km/h) Hail: up to quarter size (up to 2.5 cm)

Locations in the Path: Thunder Bay Sleeping Giant Provincial Park

A second severe thunderstorm is located: Over Nolalu

Motion: Moving southeast at 55 km/h

Hazards: Wind: damaging (90 - 110 km/h) Hail: loonie to ping pong ball size (2.5 to 4.5 cm)

Locations in the Path: Hymers Pigeon River Provincial Park
