Yellow Watch - Severe Thunderstorm

Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.

Hazards: Strong wind gusts up to 90 km/h. Nickel to toonie size hail. Torrential downpours.

Timing: This evening.

Additional information: Thunderstorms may persist through tonight into Thursday morning which may lead to a significant rain threat.

Local utility outages are possible. Damage to roofs, fences, branches or soft shelters is possible. There is a risk of injury.

Large hail can cause significant damage and injury.
