Yellow Warning - Rainfall

Heavy rain is expected.

Rain will develop tonight in Paulatuk, and become heavy at times Friday.

By the end of the day Friday, 15 to 30 mm of rain will have fallen.

However, more rain is expected Friday night and Saturday. By the time the rain tapers off later in the weekend, 50 to 100 mm of rain will have fallen.

Localized flooding is possible. Some roads may become impassable. Significant property damage is possible. Fast-moving and rapidly rising water can sweep vehicles away and damage infrastructure.
