Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 4:27 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

This thunderstorm is located 40 km west of Burnstick Lake and 50 km south of Nordegg and is moving very slowly to the northeast.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
