Yellow Watch - Severe Thunderstorm

Showers and thunderstorms will develop this afternoon in west-central Alberta and move eastwards throughout the evening. Some of these thunderstorms may become severe in nature, capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail, and heavy rain.

Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain.
