At 6:38 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing heavy rain.
This thunderstorm is currently over the city of Edmonton and is moving approximately 45 km/h towards the northeast.
Heavy downpours on already saturated ground may cause localized flooding in some communities.
