Yellow Watch - Severe Thunderstorm

Conditions this evening are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts, large hail and torrential downpours. Some of these storms may generate a tornado.

Nautical activities may be hazardous due to sudden, severe wind gusts over bodies of water.

Strong wind gusts can damage trees and buildings. Local power outages are possible.

Heavy rains can cause flash floods and cause flooding. Please exercise caution near rivers and creeks during heavy rain.

Hail can cause significant damage.
