Freezing temperatures with frost are expected tonight.

Locations: most of Newfoundland.

Minimum temperatures: -2 to +2 (coolest in low-lying areas).

Time span: early Monday morning.

Remarks: Patchy frost is expected to form as cool temperatures coincide with clearing skies and diminishing winds, especially in low-lying areas.

Damage to plants, trees, and crops is possible.

Frost advisories are issued when widespread frost or freezing temperatures are expected during the growing season.
