At 9:39 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.
These severe thunderstorms are located from the junction of NWT Highways 1 and 2, to a point 30 km south of the NWT / AB border and 30 km east of Alberta Highway 35.
These storms are moving to the northeast at 40 km/h.
