Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 5:00 p.m. PDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

There are 2 severe thunderstorms. One is located 20 km northwest of Prince George and another near Stoner and are moving to the northeast at 50 km/h.

Locations in the path include: - Highway 97 south of Prince George - Highway 97 north of Prince George - Fraser River Park - Stoner - Three Lakes Park - Reid Lake - Eskers Park - Nukko Lake - Salmon Valley - Summit Lake

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
