Special Weather Statement In Effect

Gusty winds this weekend.

What: Westerly winds gusting 70 to 90 km/h.

When: Saturday afternoon to Sunday.

Additional information: A low pressure system will track across Hudson Bay this weekend which will bring strong wind gusts. The wind gusts will start as southwesterlies before switching to northwesterlies. Isolated gusts to 100 km/h are possible.

Local utility outages are possible. Disruption to services and travel are possible. Secure loose objects.

This special weather statement will likely be upgraded to a wind warning for some areas.
