Yellow Warning - Rainfall

Heavy rain is expected in northern Manitoba tonight and Friday.

A low pressure system will bring heavy rain to northern Manitoba beginning this evening. By the time rain becomes light on Friday afternoon, a total of 25 to 40 mm is expected.

Parks and forests will likely sustain some damage. Landslides may occur in vulnerable areas such as steep slopes, deforested areas or recent burn scars.

Rainfall warnings are issued when significant impacts are expected due to rainfall amounts.
