At 3:52 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.

Motion: Moving east at 50 km/h

Hazards: Wind: strong (90 - 110 km/h) Hail: up to golf ball (up to 5.0 cm) Rain: heavy (Up to 30 mm)

Locations in the Path: Manotick, Osgoode, Greely, Metcalfe, Russell, Vars, Clarence-Rockland, Bourget, Casselman

Local utility outages are likely. Damage to roofs, fences, soft shelters or trees is likely. Fast-moving and rapidly rising water can sweep vehicles away and damage infrastructure.
