Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 10:19 a.m. CST, a line of severe thunderstorms is located from about Clair to 20 km south of Foam Lake then to Montmartre. These severe thunderstorms are moving northeast at 60 km/h. Damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain are possible.

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury. Fast-moving and rapidly rising water can sweep vehicles away and damage infrastructure.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.

Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes.
