Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
Thunderstorms will develop along the foothills early this afternoon and move eastward to the Saskatchewan border by this evening. Some of these thunderstorms may become severe.
The risk of severe thunderstorms will end late this evening.
