At 4:49 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of producing strong wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

Thunderstorm Location: Extending from Carleton Place to Newboro and east to Winchester.

Motion: Moving east at 40 km/h

Hazards: Wind: strong up to 90 km/h Hail: up to quarter size (up to 2.5 cm) Rain: heavy, possibly exceeding 50 mm per hour
