Special Weather Statement In Effect

The first notable accumulating snowfall of the season is expected.

Locations: Labrador City and Wabush.

Total snowfall: 4 to 8 cm.

Time span: until overnight tonight.

Remarks: Snow may make Thanksgiving travel slower than usual, with slippery roads and walkways. Be prepared for winter driving conditions, keep a snow brush handy, and allow extra time to reach your destination.

As temperatures hover near the freezing point, snowfall accumulations may vary over short distances.
