Special Weather Statement In Effect

Potential for heavy snow.

What: Snowfall amount of 10 to 15 cm.

When: Thursday evening to Friday afternoon.

Where: Stone Mountain Provincial Park, Tetsa River, Highway 97/Alaska Highway.

Additional information: A Pacific front will spread rain to Muncho Lake - Stone Mountain Parks region by Thursday afternoon. As the airmass cools, rain will change to snow Thursday evening and become heavy at times. Snow will taper off Friday afternoon.

Visibility will likely be reduced at times. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.
