Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 1:07 a.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.

A line of severe thunderstorm from Elk Valley Park, passing 20 km south of Crowsnest to 40 km southeast of Hosmer is moving northeast at 40 km/h.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
