Yellow Warning - Blizzard

Extended periods of blizzard conditions with poor visibility in blowing snow are expected.

Where: Dempster Highway, near the Richardson Mountains.

When: Now through Tuesday morning.

Remarks: Strong easterly winds have materialized near the Richardson mountains today. Winds will likely remain strong through tonight, ease somewhat on Monday morning then further increase again Monday afternoon.
