Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 12:28 p.m. PDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

There is a line of severe thunderstorms from Barlow Creek to Kersley along Highway 97 moving northeast at 40 km/h.

Quesnel and Highway 26 will be affected.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
