At 6:40 p.m. NDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing heavy rain.

Location: Green Bay - White Bay

Locations impacted include:

Beachside, Middle Arm (Baie Verte), Burlington, Nippers Harbour, Woodstock, Brent's Cove, Pacquet, St. Patricks, Jackson's Cove, Harry's Harbour, Smith's Harbour, Harbour Round.

Radar estimated rainfall rate: locally 20 to 30 mm per hour in thunderstorms.

Time span: until late this evening.
