Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 6:19 a.m. CST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Fast-moving and rapidly rising water can sweep vehicles away and damage infrastructure. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury. There is a risk of injury.

Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
