Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 6:43 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

These severe thunderstorms are located 80 km southwest of Fort Providence and are moving toward the north at 25 km/h.

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
