Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 3:16 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and very heavy rain.

The thunderstorm is located near Saint-Alexis-des-Monts and is moving very slowly, producing significant rainfall accumulations.

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
