Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 6:21 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

A severe thunderstorm is heading towards Saint-Esprit and Saint-Lin-Laurentides. This thunderstorm is capable of producing torrential downpours and wind gusts of up to 100 km/h.

Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
