At 7:59 a.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts and up to quarter size hail.

Thunderstorm Location: From Paris to Waterdown.

Motion: Moving quickly to the east at 70 km/h

Hazards: Wind: strong (up to 90 km/h) Hail: up to quarter size (up to 2.5 cm)

Locations in the Path: Burlington, Paris, Brantford, Hamilton

Local utility outages are likely. Damage to roofs, fences, soft shelters or trees is likely. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury.
