Damaging winds are expected.

Where: Baker Lake

What: Severe winds of 70 gusting to 90 km/h.

Timing: Beginning Friday morning and diminishing Friday evening.

Remarks: A low pressure system over northern Manitoba will give severe northerly winds to Baker Lake on Friday.

Local utility outages are possible. Damage to roofs, fences, branches or soft shelters is possible. Some property damage is possible.

Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
