Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.

Potential rainfall rates: locally 15 to 25 mm per hour in thunderstorms.

Time span: until early this evening.

Remarks: Thunderstorms, with potential to become severe, may develop as the air mass over the region becomes increasingly unstable.
