A heat event is expected Sunday and Monday for parts of northern Manitoba. Temperatures exceeding 29 degrees are expected, with Sunday being particularly hot and muggy with humidex values reaching the mid 30s. Overnight lows will remain high as well, not dropping below 16 degrees.

Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
