Yellow Watch - Severe Thunderstorm

In the early overnight hours, conditions will be conducive to the formation of severe thunderstorms capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.

Nautical activities may be hazardous due to sudden, severe wind gusts over bodies of water.

Strong gusts can damage trees and buildings. Local power outages are possible.

Hail can cause damage. Heavy rain can cause flash floods and flooding.

Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain.
