At 6:01 p.m. CDT (7:01 p.m. EDT), Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and very heavy rain.

Thunderstorm Location: Near Amik Lake

Motion: Moving east at 40 km/h

Hazards: Wind: strong (up to 90 km/h) Hail: up to quarter size (up to 2.5 cm) Rain: heavy (50 - 100 mm)

Damage to roofs, fences, soft shelters or trees is likely. Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. There is a risk of injury.
