Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 5:44 p.m. MST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

An area of thunderstorms near Osborn and Peejay is moving northward at a speed of 30 km/h.

Damage to roofs, fences, soft shelters or trees is likely. Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury.

Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
