Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 8:15 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

This storm is located southwest of Murdochville and is moving to the northeast at 45 kilometres per hour.

Damage to roofs, fences, soft shelters or trees is likely.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
