At 319 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over Folkstone, or near North Topsail Beach. These storms were nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include... Jacksonville, North Topsail Beach, Camp Lejeune Center, Folkstone, Verona, Dixon, Onslow Beach, Sneads Ferry, Sea View Pier, and Holly Ridge.
