Flash Flood Warning

The heavy rain has ended, and the previous flood waters have likely receded. Flooding is no longer expected to pose an imminent threat. Please continue to heed any remaining road closures.

New thunderstorms are producing heavy rain upstream of the warned area. If this heavy rain reaches the previously-warned areas later tonight, there could be a renewed risk for flash flooding. So, interests are encouraged to remain weather aware this evening.

A Flood Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for portions of northeast, south central, and southeast Kentucky.
