At 952 PM EDT, a marine weather observations reported a wind shift associated with a frontal boundary crossing the area, producing winds to around 25 knots. This front was located near Thimble Shoals, moving south at 20 knots. These gusty northerly winds should last for the next couple of hours and then diminish to around 10 kt overnight.
