A band of snow with snowfall rates near or in excess of one-half inch per hour will continue through at least 3 PM across the area, subsiding by the evening. While accumulations are forecast to be greatest on grassy surfaces, accumulating snowfall on roads will continue in areas where snowfall rates are highest. If traveling near the Rocky Mountain Front or nearby plains this afternoon, be prepared for reduced visibility, gusty winds, and variable road conditions.
