* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Jack County in north central Texas... Palo Pinto County in north central Texas... Stephens County in north central Texas... Young County in north central Texas...
* WHEN...Until 600 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 240 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to slow moving thunderstorms across the area. Radar estimates between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen early this morning. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible. Minor flooding of roads and low lying areas is likely in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mineral Wells, Graham, Breckenridge, Jacksboro, Olney, Graford, Bryson, Gordon, Palo Pinto, Possum Kingdom Lake, Possum Kingdom State Park, Lake Graham, Caddo, Lake Palo Pinto, Crystal Falls, Fort Richardson State Park, Necessity, Palo Pinto Mountains State Park, Lake Daniel and Hubbard Creek Reservoir. - The Ross Fire Burn Scar area in northwest Palo Pinto and southern Jack Counties will be more likely to experience flooding.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
