.Heavy rainfall expected this week will bring some local rivers into Flood Stage.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Alafia River at Lithia .

* WHEN...From late Thursday night to Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, River Drive and Squirrel Run Way downstream of County Road 640 are completely covered by water. One home begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 7.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Friday morning to a crest of 13.3 feet early Friday afternoon.
