Air Quality Alert

Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has issued an Air Quality Advisory until at least 3 PM PDT Friday.

DEQ expects the air quality advisory to last until at least Friday afternoon, August 14, 2026. DEQ and partner agencies will continue to monitor smoke.

Smoke levels can change rapidly depending on weather. Check current conditions on the Oregon Smoke Information Blog, DEQ's Air Quality Index, or by downloading the free OregonAIR app on your smartphone.

Pollutants in smoke can cause burning eyes, runny nose, aggravate heart and lung diseases, and aggravate other serious health problems. Limit outdoor activities and keep children indoors if it is smoky. Please follow medical advice if you have a heart or lung condition.
