At 137 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain moving back into the area from the west, especially near the Minnesota-Iowa state line from Ellsworth to Bigelow. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen across the warned area. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 3 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
