Special Weather Statement

At 715 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Lake, or 7 miles southeast of Forest, moving south at 10 mph.

A strong outflow boundary outside of storms is also capable of producing strong winds.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include... Jackson, Pearl, Brandon, Flowood, Richland, Forest, Florence, Morton, Newton, Union, Decatur, Bay Springs, Raleigh, Walnut Grove, Conehatta, Pelahatchie, Hillsboro, Polkville, Hickory, and D'Lo.
