* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Northern Miami-Dade County in southeastern Florida...
* WHEN...Until 900 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 733 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated the thunderstorms have ended which produced rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches during the last hour. However, there is still some light to moderate rains ongoing over Northeast Miami-Dade County that can still produce another half an inch of rainfall which can result in minor flooding. Therefore, the Urban Flood Advisory will remain in effect for Northern Miami-Dade County until 9 PM EDT this evening. - This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Miami Beach, Surfside, North Miami, North Miami Beach, Aventura, Miami Shores, North Bay Village, El Portal, Golden Glades, Ojus, Bay Harbor Islands, Biscayne Park, Fiu North Campus and Ives Estates. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
