High Surf Advisory

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 9 to 13 feet and dangerous rip currents expected.

* WHERE...For the High Surf Advisory, along west and north facing reefs. For the High Rip Current Risk, along west, north, and east facing reefs.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM ChST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...As influence from Typhoon Dolphin on the monsoon pattern decreases, influence from Tropical Storm Chan- Hom and other disturbances will increase. This will keep surf elevated and above hazardous conditions for west and north facing reefs through the weekend.
